Morning Moments

Remember when everyone was so hyped about the New Millennium and the crashed of all things technical?  Nothing happened!  Remember even before that when way back in '86 there was the so-called "prophetic utterance" of the guy who had figured out just when the rapture would take place?  Nothing happened!  Remember the guy this past October or November that had it all figured out?  Remember this month (December) when supposedly the Mayans had it all figured?  Both times, again nothing happened!  Will we NEVER learn?  But don't worry some NUT will be doing the same this coming year.

The bottom line is that no on knows the day nor hour of the RAPTURE nor the REVELATION!  Nobody knows precisely when Jesus will come for the Church nor when He will return to earth with His Church to reign in righteousness.  BUT WE KNOW HE WILL!  And there is something else we know...THE TIMES and the SEASONS will be as it was in the days of Lot and Noah...WE CAN BANK ON THAT!

So, what are we as true believers to believe and do?  We are to believe what the WORD of GOD teaches...BOTH the "harpadzo" and the "parousia" will take place JUST as the Word says they will, and we are to LIVE as though both could happen at any moment, which means that we should desire to meet The Lord with spot and blameless, that we might not be ashamed when He DOES come!

I remember the story of the soldier who left his fiancé to go to war.  There were times when everyone, except her, wondered IF he would return.  Here hopes were never dashed no diminished, for in her heart of heart she KNEW her love would return and that they would be married. One day in the privacy of her own bedroom, having a mind filled with the thought of His return and the hopes of their spending their lives together, she decided to put on her wedding dress and stand before the mirror as if that were the day.  Suddenly, the door flew open and there he stood in his dress uniform, having come without letting her know just when.

THAT'S the way it will be regardless of all these prophetic preachers!  He wiil come FOR us and He Will come again to the earth WITH US.  Don't lose hope, my brother or sister, HE IS COMING SOON!
