Morning Moments

THE FLOORING
Col. 1:11
Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness;

The use of the words might and power, are to be understood as “inherent ability” and “manifested strength”. This will hold up, endure, and last because it is built upon a solid foundation. The concrete slab beneath is durable, but the overlay or external flooring is beautiful.

Did you ever enter a house with beautiful wood floors or marble and not be overwhelmed? The quality of the flooring says a lot about the house itself. There is the internal support which no one sees, but everyone enjoys the benefit of the external. It is supported underneath, but it is proved externally. Longsuffering and joyfulness express perseverance and its result.

My friend, this is what allows you to be walked on, spilled on, and scuffed, but cleaned up and looking beautiful again. There is but ONE cleaner for this flooring and it is the blood and body of the Lord Jesus Christ. The flooring of the edifice endures everything without weakening.

No need to fret, fuss, and fume about the spills, etc., Just let the keep the floor clean!

BLESSINGS!
