Morning Moments

2 Cor. 2:11
Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

God warns His people throughout the Scripture about their ignorance. In Hosea He said, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. In our text we are told that it is only by spiritual perception and understanding of the enemy’s schemes that enables us to keep from being taken “advantage” of by the devil. The word “advantage” means to defraud, get one over on us, to gain by us.

It is so sad that so many are being and have been deceived about so much today. One of the ways has been political, and that is why I pass THIS notice on to you:

This will be on Oct 11th :

Sunday night at 9 PM Eastern.

This Sunday Fox news is going to air a very important documentary about Barack Obama, Sunday night at 9 PM Eastern.

The report will go back to Obama's earlier days, showing even then his close ties to radical Marxist professors, friends, spiritual advisers, etc. It will also reveal detail his ties to Rev. Wright for 20+ yrs. How he was participating with this man, and not for the reasons he states!

The report has uncovered more of Obama's radical past and we will see things that no one in the media is willing to put out there. It will be a segment to remember.

Mark your calendar and pass this on to everyone you know: Sunday night, 8 PM. CT; 9 PM ET. Democrat or Republican, this report will open your eyes. If you care about the direction of our country, pass this notice on to everyone you know.

A word to the wise is sufficient!

Now to continue the consideration of our text:
Paul’s apostleship was being questioned by some and in defense of that attack; he provides the evidence of his apostleship, then reminds the Corinthians that we must not be ignorant of Satan’s devices of schemes.
There is absolutely nothing wrong with questioning the authority and examining the credentials of the man of God, or of a man in any position for that matter. We are not to follow anyone blindly, but as followers of Jesus Christ, should make our judgments (evaluative, not condemnatory) based upon the facts.

We are told in Scripture that “in the latter days” men shall both deceive and be deceived. THAT period of time IS AT HAND. There are many scoffers, skeptics, and seducers on every side, but God through His Word, THE BIBLE – NOT the Koran, nor any other alleged sacred writing, clearly warns us. So we have no excuse for our ignorance.

BE SURE OF THIS! Satan will deceive democrats, republicans, white, black, red, yellow, men, women, children, conservative, liberal, or whatever and whomever will NOT heed the warnings of God and His Word. We must, as believers, regardless of who leaders are, demand proof of credibility and credentials. THAT proof does not come from the way we “feel” about someone. It does not come from our “opinion” of someone. BUT it does come from an examination based upon the WORD OF GOD alone.

Hence, He says:
Psa 33: 12 Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD; and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance.

The LORD is Jesus Christ and every knee shall bow and confess Him as LORD (Jehovah), whether American, European, Asian, African, or any other.

May we “NOT BE IGNORANT” about Satan’s schemes to deceit us regard those who say they are one thing, but IN TRUTH are another.

BLESSINGS!
