Exodus 33:19 (KJV)
19 And he said, I will make all my goodness pass before thee, and I will proclaim the name of the Lord before thee; and will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will shew mercy on whom I will shew mercy.
GOD'S GOODNESS EXTENDED -
The God of heaven and earth has always been, is, and ever shall be GOOD. He alone is inherently good. He has extended his goodness to man. It is true that the goodness of God was manifested when He, out of the good pleasure of His will gave breath to the man created from dust.
Man has chosen to disregard the goodness of God to think and act independently of Him, all the while failing to realize that the mere breath he breathes is an extension of the goodness of God, for He sustains all things by the word of His power.
Man's rebellion against God should certainly prompt man without God to be denied the goodness of God BUT it does not, for it is not the nature of the goodness of God. He does not withdraw His goodness to those who are without Him. In fact, He extends His goodness to bring man to repentance. How unlike the Creator is His creature - which is why His creature, man, must be reconciled to Him.
He has taken the initiative of reconciliation through the sacrifice of His Son, for the very rebellion, resistance, and rejection of His goodness. THAT IS GOOD! He has kept on taking the initiative through the sowing of the seed of the Word in the soul, and the drawing of the Holy Spirit, for He is not willing that ANY should perish, but that ALL should come to repentance.
He came to us in the Person of His Son, Jesus Christ, to extend to us His goodness, and not to us only, but to every soul for He seeks our salvation. GOD IS GOOD!

God is good! When we are caught up in worldly issues it is too easy to forget the goodness of our God. We can find the time to text message each other... but do we find the time to talk to God? I see this, know this...but don't always do this myself!
