Morning Moments

2 Chronicles 7:3 (KJV)
3 And when all the children of Israel saw how the fire came down, and the glory of the Lord upon the house, they bowed themselves with their faces to the ground upon the pavement, and worshipped, and praised the Lord, saying, For he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever.

The goodness of God is seen in the Garden of Grace (Eden), when He created man in His own image and likeness. Seeing that it was not good for man to be alone, God made his counterpart isha from ish – WOman from man, FEmale from male.

The goodness of God is seen in the Garden of Gethsemane where the sinless Lamb of God reaffirmed His commitment to redeem fallen man whom He loves so dearly and sought so desperately. It was here that He further readied Himself for the commitment made before the foundation of the world – to be THE LAMB, blameless, sinless, flawless, and faultless, that would be the once for all sacrifice for sin, not for ours only, but for the sins of the whole world.

The goodness of God is also see in the Garden of Glory where there will be n problems, no pain, no punishment; so sin, no sickness; no sorrow, no sadness, nor any such thing; no doubt, no deception, no disobedience, no discouragement, no defeat, no despair, and no disillusionment. It is here that God will eternally manifest His goodness.

By the way, shouldn’t this prompt us to do as they did - bowed themselves with their faces to the ground upon the pavement, and worshipped, and praised the Lord, saying, For he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever.

GOD IS SO GOOD!
