The other evening I received an email from someone I did not know. It was about an attorney who is running for District Attorney in my hometown. The thing that made it most interesting is that he had never heard of me, nor I him. How he got my personal email address I do not know.
Curious, I phoned him and we talked awhile and as we closed our conversation, I asked if I could pray for him. His response was "please do." Now this is the interesting part. I received a hand written not two days later in which he, "I had just offered a silent prayer when you called. Your words of encouragement were straight from the Lord".
Not only did it confirm the guidance of the Lord in my life, but also in his. Hallelujah! It is a daily thing for us but we often excuse those things as coincidence. Sheep are dumb! It is was they need a shepherd. Hmmm, reminds me of me:) Blessings!
PRAYER: Gracious God, thank you that I don't have to have big miracles to know you and your leadership in my life. Please help me to stay alert to your guidance and always give you the glory. I pray for my new friend and his family. Guide, guard, and grow them for Jesus sake.
