The Pagan Deceivers

[41:8] And it came to pass in the morning that his spirit was troubled; and he sent and called for all the magicians of Egypt, and all the wise men thereof: and Pharaoh told them his dream; but there was none that could interpret them unto Pharaoh.

The Psychic Network! I would never have imagined that intelligent people would be so dumb and so duped as to place an ounce of confidence in that mess, but all along the streets and highways of America are signs reading, Psychic Reader. But I do realize that Satan is the great counterfeiter. He is a master deceiver. A horoscope reading here, a fortune cookie message there and people begin believing that stuff. Let me be straight forward enough to say if you do YOU ARE DECEIVED!

The other day I got a letter in the mail from some "Saint Mary's Ministry" somewhere with newspaper type articles and a big picture of "Jesus" (?) though I'm not sure what Jesus. Of course it was to bring me a blessing and I was to stare at the eyes that were closed and they were to open, etc. etc. RUBBISH! I DO NOT respond to such non-sense, nor do I forward those well meaning "Christian" emails that say if I send this to so many people I will be blessed. BULL! I am already blessed with every spiritual blessing in Christ Jesus and I sit with Him in Heavenly places.

How naive people are, and so weak of mind, as to actually believe that those things are God's way of TRUTH. Playing with the supernatural and being intrigued by the "unsolved mysteries" of the universe can lead us down a path of deception.

BUT how does one explain all this mysterious stuff? From that Hollywood nut (Shirley whatever her name was) who thought she has lived so many lives, but didn't live the one she was living worth a hoot, to the people who phone in to help the police solve a case, to the President’s wife who sought the advice of an astrologer, ALL are simply deceived and settling for substitutes and counterfeits.

Let me lay it out to you this way, since I do have trouble being clear sometimes. Does Satan want us discerning or deceived? It is obvious! Does he want us listening to God's Spirit as He teaches us through His Word or does he want us listening to his spirits as they seek to steel, kill, and destroy (that is what Satan does)? He is the father of lies. That doesn't mean that what he says is never true, but it means that what he says is NOT consistent with the TRUTH as God has revealed it.

Was Satan not quoting the truth when he tempted Jesus? Of course he was, but He was using God's Word AGAINST God to tempt Him. God's timing is equal to His truth. Jesus certainly could have turned stones to bread, but he will not do it on the devil's terms. That is the point. The devil has a plan for the ages and it is to deceive, distract, divert, and divide believers because he already has the unbelievers. How would you think he would best do it? By taking something that would entice us and leading us astray! He does it with alcohol, drugs (prescribed or otherwise), internet junk, porn, or whatever he can.

By creating scenarios that would give credibility to his plan, he accomplishes his plan. For example, does he want to create race problems? Sure he does! So he works in the heart of those he can manipulate (regardless of their race) to bread distrust and hatred toward other races. In prison it is usually blacks vs. Hispanic vs. white. In society in general it may be Arabs against Israelis, etc. THE DEVIL is the GREAT DIVIDER and he uses sometimes well intended but manipulated people to do his will.

Can his plan be thwarted? Absolutely! By winning the hearts and minds of those in whom he works to personal faith in Jesus who IS OUR PEACE! That is why it is the Gospel (Good News) that is the solution to social and cultural problems, not platforms and politics as we have been deluded to believe.

Pharaoh’s magicians were stumped when it came to solving his problems for all the king's horses and all the king's men can't put humpty dumpty together again. Only Jehovah God can do it. Only he could solve Pharaoh’s problem and interpret his dreams. So, God sent a man, whose name we only know as "butler" who knew another man named Joseph, who was incarcerated and had been for some time.

The king took a big risk and sent for the prisoner who quickly informed the king - "It is not in me; God will give Pharaoh an answer of peace."
