Morning Moments

A STRANGE FELLOW

He was a bit of a strange fellow but I liked him. He had taught at UCLA at one time and I knew he must have had some knowledge of what he was doing when I learned that several movie stars, including Dean Martin, flew in from California for treatments.

His wife and son attended the church of which I was the pastor and they were precious people. I'm not sure what all degrees he had but among them were M.D. and whatever the degree is for Osteopath.

I was not ill but stressed so he suggested that I "come by" to see him at his practice. I did. I don't remember anything strange or unusual about our conversations or his treatments - no magic potions, etc, but when I mentioned to him that my wife suffered severely with sinus problems he suggested that I bring her in to see him.

She was addicted to "Afrin" at the time and it was a prescription nasal spray. Now, I think it is an over the counter spray, but it was not then and whenever we travelled anywhere the first thing we made sure we had was the "Afrin" spray so she could breathe.

With a bit of convincing I finally got her in to she this strange little man who gave her a series of three "sonic" treatments - just three and that was almost forty years ago and she has not had an "Afrin" sniff nor sinus problem since.

You may call it crazy if you suffer from sinus problems. You may call it psychological if you are a medical doctor. I don't care what you call it, all I know is that it has worked for forty years.

There is Another Man! He is the Great Physician! He is not merely the Chief surgeon, a heart specialist, a liver specialist, a cancer specialist, or whatever. He is THE SPECIALIST and always knows just what's wrong inside us where no x-ray, no CT scan, no PET scan, and no other scan can pick up. He knows why we disfunction, malfunction, and don't function. He has healed millions of us of the malady of sin, selfishness, and independence. He has healed our broken hearts, broken minds, and broken bodies.

It may seem crazy to you and very hard to believe when we cannot explain it all with words that you do not understand. He holds no degrees and has received only the honor of an empty tomb, but He can do and will do what you need done to be WHOLE!

He does not hold the title of doctor, but He does hold the title of KING of kings and LORD of lords. His name is above every name and sooner or later, at the mention of His name every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess that JESUS is LORD!
