I am on the road today but will be home tomorrow, so this will be an update on our Christmas miracle which indeed it has been. It appears that little Jacob, our 3 year old friend who fell down the elevator shaft in his home is going to be fine. He is still in an induced comma but is responding by movement of his arms and legs and there is no sign of swelling of the brain,
We don't know exactly how it all happened, but somehow he fell into the shaft and the elevator floor was on him. Two neighborhood men held up the elevator floor for the emergency team to work with him. He was then life flighted to the hospital trauma unit.
About a hundred people in the neighborhood gathered Christmas eve night for a prayer vigil. At 2:17 A.M. I blogged the story, so people all over the world were praying and asking our Father for a Christmas miracle for little Jacob. As I receive more details about the story I will pass them on to you, but I thought, "How like God this is to give us a Christmas Miracle" on a day when most of us would be thinking of giving and receiving gifts." What a gift! The life of a little boy whose name is so prominent in Scripture. A name that is so important to the nation of Israel; a little boy of three years in a suburb of Atlanta.
There is no one to get the glory for this Christmas miracle but God and the Son that He gave birth to so many years ago, so far away from Cumming, Georgia. Thank you, FATHER!
BLESSINGS!
