Morning Moments

Isaiah 33:17 - Your eyes will see the king in all his spendor.

In Amercia, we know nothing of kings. We pride ourselves on being free from a sovereign's rule and cherish that freedom. In fact, one of the primary reasons for the pilgrims coming to this new land was for "religious freedom", which is not the freedom from religion, but the freedom of religion.

Those who sought that freedom were Christians. Regardless of the "secular progressiv"ism" which has grown through the past 50 years, the truth remains that our freedom to worship God as we please is protected by our Constitution. That is why a MINORITY today wish to remove all evidence and declarations of our "roots" of faith. IT MUST NOT AND WILL NOT BE DONE!

All over the world, in every stage and age, there have been those who were willing, NOT to suicide bomb there way to Heaven, but to love and serve our King with compassion, for man and history prove that NO people have ever so improved society and brought hope as does the Christian faith. Oh, we fight, as we should, but not one another and not our government, because we know that GOD IS THE ULTIMATE GOVERNOR OF GOVERNMENTS. We do not endanger or enslave one another, but evangelize and edify one another - THAT is God's way and has been our way since we were born. We are a chosen people and a royal nation, but NOT because we are Americans! We are what we have been because of our Christian faith.

America is different because those principles that have guided and guarded her through her existence have been heretofore based upon THE WORD OF GOD. That is why one does not see us fighting each other in the streets, but fighting "the cause" at the ballot box. Those who fight in the streets are misguided anarchists.

We are a people who cherish freedom to choose and freedom to disagree peacefully. We are sometimes very vocal, but never violent. We are often determined, but never destructive. We have been divided many times and have face tough decisions about this land and its people, but we will not be deterd as long as we stick to our roots. Stand up? Yes! Speak out? Yes! BUT may we never forget that our SOVEREIGN is not a President or a political party. Our SOVERIGN is the KING of kings and LORD of lords, JESUS CHRIST, OUR SAVIOR AND LORD. Nothing and no one must be allowed to keep us from wanting for all people what we have discovered in Jesus.

Let us go into the highways and byways of life bidding people to come to the knowledge of our King whom we shall soon see in all HIS splendor.

BLESSINGS! AND MAY GOD BLESS AMERICA once again!
