Morning Moments

Thou Shalt Not Steal
Exodus 20:15

To Steal From Ones Neighbor -

Retailers' losses or shrinkage from theft and other problems is a difficult situation. Employee theft is 42% of the total, shoplifting is 31%, poor paperwork is 23%, and vendor theft is 4%. So the person who shoplifts accounts for only one third. Through poor work and stealing, the employee accounts for 75% of the loss. (National Mass Retailing Institute)

Is To Destroy Trust -

There is an undermining affect upon the confidence people have in one another when something is stolen. You get suspicious of all. If you are an employer who has something stolen, and you don't know who might have done it, everyone is suspect until you know.

Is To Deny Truth -

The truth is that we are to love our neighbor as ourselves. That communicates a respect for the others property. To take what does not belong to you, is to say that God does not know best how society is to function

BLESSINGS!
