Morning Moments

Esther chapter 8

8:8 - The Guarantee -

"Write ye also for the Jews, as it liketh you, in the king's name, and seal it witht the king's ring: for the writing which is written in the king's name, and sealed with the king's ring, may no man reverse."

"Write it in the king's name!" Do you realize that is precisely what the Holy Spirit said in essence to those men who penned the Word of God. "Seal it with the king's seal!" What a guarantee! This Document we know as the Bible is Divine! This is a Royal Revelation. It is a Noble Decree that quarantees that what God says He WILL do - HE WILL!

8:9 - The Grace -

"Then were the king's scribes called at that time in the third month, that is, the month Sivan, on the three and twentieth day thereof; and it was written according to all that Mordecai commanded unto the Jews, and to the lieutenants, and the deputies and rulers of the provinces which are from India unto Ethiopia, an hundred twenty and seven provinces, unto every province according to the writing thereof, and unto every people after their language, and to the Jews according to their writing, and according to thier language."

The words were words of relief and revival. God had intervened. What hatred and prejudice would have destroyed, God had delivered. DEAR JESUS DO IT AGAIN FOR AMERICA!

The word was soon out and it was out everywhere - in all the provinces. There was once again safety and security. It was not because of the way of the wicked, but because of the way of the wise. It was not because evil conquered, but because eternity countered the evil. Can we not see the parallel? Do we understand that this whole thing was prevented because the righteous prevailed? It is not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit, saith the Lord." There was a righteous man in the right place with a righteous woman in the royal palace.

8:10 - The Good News

"And we wrote in the king Ahasuerus' name, and sealed it with the king's ring, and sent letters by posts on horseback, and riders on mules, camels, and young dromedaries."

The song says, "Ain't no mountain high enough. Ain't no river deep enough to keep me from getter to you." Can you hear the angels sing it to us? Can you hear the Father say it? It has been written in the King's Name, and sealed with the King's Ring. What more can we ask? Nothing will keep Him from His LOVE - the bride! When we are honed in to the Good News that Jesus wants not only to forgive us but to free us to live life to the fullest, even when things seem futile and the future looks bleak. The enemy might seek to conquer us, but dear one, Jesus has Countered the Enemy!

Now go and have a blessed day!
