Morning Moments

We are all different.  Some like to stay up late and get up later; some like to retire early and get up early.  I am reminded of an employee I had once.  This guy always had a bad attitude.  He never came into work with a smile or a friendly hello.

One day I suggested that he meet with God before he met with people.  He said, "I'm not a morning person.  I replied, "Then get a night job."  Anybody get be nasty and irritable EXCEPT a Christian filled with the Spirit of God.  It is the full Christian that is a fruitful Christian and a fruitful Christian is a loving, peaceful, joyful Christian.

Some call themselves Christians who get up early and drink a bowl of vinegar, then look for something or someone to be upset with.  GET OVER IT!  We do not have to be Mr. or Ms. Bubbly all the time but we should always be courteous and kind.  I have worked with those who thought if they cracked a smile their face would break.  "A merry heart does good like a medicine," and this sick world and workplace needs a little medicine:)  So, before you check you face in the mirror, check your heart in the Word.  And REMEMBER Who you are representing AS A CHRISTIAN.  AMEN!

PRAYER:  Father, teach us not to be touchy, fretful, or resentful, but to be patient and longsuffering.  Help us to live today in a way that would not allow anyone nor anything to "lick the red off our suckers."
