Morning Moments

THERE IS NO DIFFERENCE!

I suppose we could all agree that we live in a rather discriminating world, whether we approve of it or not.  It is just the way it is.  We have heard so much recently about "the war on women", "the 99% and the 1%", the "47%", "the race card", and on and on.  BUT WITH GOD, the playing field is level and there is no difference between sexes, races, classes, or any other person or group of people.

Romans 10:12-13 (KJV)
12 For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. 13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

"Red and yellow, black and white, they are precious in His sight.  Jesus loves the little children of the world"...and the rest of us too.

I spent three years in Germany in the United States Air Force in the early '60s and served in the Administrative field as what was then called a Chaplain's assistant.  I was lost without Christ at the time, but learned a lot about "religion".  I could tell some real stories about my experiences with the various denominational chaplains, but suffice it to say, it was a real eye opener.  My point is that in ever area, whether Jew, Christian, or whatever, I saw this same discrimination.  I always felt on the "outside" with many of these groups, simply because I was not "one of them".

Life is that way!  Whoever you are, wherever you live,  whatever you do, wherever you go, you will find a measure of discrimination.  BUT NOT WITH GOD!!!!!  He is no respecter of persons!  He does not play favorites!  You are not closer to Him because you are a Messianic Jew, a Baptist, Methodist, Episcopalian, etc.  We must UNDERSTAND that!  It is why we must "endeavor" or "work at" keeping the "unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace" with one another as true believers in Jesus Christ.

The other day, a new acquaintance called me Austin, then said, "I feel like I should call you Dr. Phillips".  My response is usually, "If you can call the Son of God by His first name, I have no trouble with you calling me by mine."  Of course, being from the South, the exception to that would be for children who need to say "Sir, Mr., Dr., Pastor, etc". :)

My point is simply this:  It doesn't matter who or what you are in this life, the ground is level at the cross and there is NO DIFFERENCE whether you or man or woman, adult or child, black or white, we are all the same with God and individually must come to Him the say way, repenting of our sins, believing in our hearts, and confessing with out mouths THE LORD JESUS CHRIST.

Be Blessed!
