For some two thousand years this wall has remained pretty much unchanged. It is the Kotel or the Western or Wailing Wall in Jerusalem. It is in the cracks and crevices of this wall that small notes and prayer requests are placed. This is the only remaining part of the Jewish Temple and is where millions go every year to pray for Messiah to come. The is for the Jewish people a wall of HOPE! The hope is that one day soon their temple will be rebuilt and that temple worship will resume and that Messiah shall indeed come to "restore the kingdom to Israel".
What they believe will happen, will happen, just as the Scripture teaches, but the problem for the moment is that as a whole they have been judicially blinded and cannot see that the Lord Jesus Christ our Savior is there Promised Messiah.
Once again I am simply pointing out the clear distinction between God's dealings with the Jews as a completely seperate part of the Kingdom of God. They will always remain an earthly people with the throne of David forever established as an everlasting Kingdom. Having been known for the great pride, they will be known as the "meek" who inherit the earth. The land that God has given them is not merely theirs for time, but for eternity.
On the other hand, the unique Body of Christ, which is the Church will live in that city foursquare suspended in the heavens from which flows the river with the tree of life with fruit for the headings of the nations of the earth. The city is 1500 miles cube and as described in Revelation, would be sufficient to house over five quintillion people with 20,000 sq ft apartments or "mansions". The whole point of it is that God NEVER created heaven or earth NOT to be inhabited - both shall be for eternity, BUT with the righteousness and after Satan and his angels and all unbeliever are cast into the Lake of Fire there will never again be the need for a Kotel, a wailing wall of any kind for sin shall be no more.
BLESSINGS!
