When Everything Was Right

Galatians 4:4. But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law,
5. To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons. 6. And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.

Whatever God does, He does just right.  That's why we don't need to rush Him.  He knows how to do what He alone can do and When to do it, just as our text shows us.

THE RIGHT MOMENT    "the fulness of time"

The word fulness means complete.  What God did for us in time He had already done in eternity before the creation.  Don't ever forget that there has never been a time that you and I were not in the mind of God.  This might just be YOUR moment in time that will change you for eternity.

THE RIGHT MANNER    "God sent forth His Son"

God had done so many things to bring man to Himself.  From the Garden of Eden to the Grave outside Jerusalem God had said through angels and prophets, visions and dreams that He wanted us back, but we for the most part ignored Him.

THE RIGHT MOTHER    "made of a woman"

It was very important that God find the right woman.  There are some things to be considered about Mary:
1. She was blessed among women not above them
2. The magi came to worship the King not his mother
3. In the magnificat she confessed he need for a savior

THE RIGHT METHOD    "made under the law"

Jesus perfectly kept the law and was the only one who ever did, but those who thought they kept it rejected Him because He did not keep it their way.

THE RIGHT MOTIVE        "to redeem"

He never came to make us religious.  He never came to make us Baptists, Methodists, or whatever.  He came to redeem us.  To buy us out of the market place of sin.

THE RIGHT MISSION    "adoption and sonship"

We are sons by birth, but we are adopted by a Divine Decree.  We do not need tutors or governors for we have the earnest of our inheritance, the Holy Spirit with whom we are sealed unto the day of the redemption of our bodies.

If God could so precisely and perfectly know and do what He did when He did in sending His only begotten Son Jesus, do you think He really has any problem with truth and timing in your life or mine?
