Morning Moments

Isaiah 9:6 (KJV)
6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

THIS IS MY LAST BLOG UNTIL AFTER CHRISTMAS, so let me wish all of you a Blessed Christmas and a glorious New Year!

THE PRINCE OF PEACH

The word "prince" is chief, head, captain. The word "peace" is far more than the cesasion of war. I conveys the idea of welfare, blessing, happiness, and prosperity.

In other words, THIS child, this son is the source of all good things, and all these good things He has promised to all the children of God - those who have been truly born of the Spirit.

When Jesus came the first time, He said, "Do not think that I came to bring peace of earth..." Jesus said "There will be wars and rumors of wars, but these thing MUST be..."

As much as God want best for man, man without Christ wants his own way without God. There is a way that seems right unto man but the ways thereof are the ways of DEATH -Spiritual and Eternal.

Soon THIS S A M E JESUS will come again to reign as the Sovereign of the universe and there shall then be a rule of PEACE - not merely the absence of was, but the abundance of blessing for all on earth.

HOWEVER, even then, after a thousand year reign of righteousness, there will be those who rebel and resist. Imagine that! Are these the "bad seed" of the earth or are they as us all, with the freedom to choose? That is why the Scripture says "I have placed before you this day life and death - CHOOSE LIFE!"
