Ps 119:89


Psalm 119:89-96

The eightfold Lamed. Eternal and imperishable in the constant verifying of itself is the vigorous and consolatory word of God, to which the poet will ever cling. Why should I question the Word of God which God esteems above His name. If His Word is questionable, so is His creation, salvation, and everything else the Word teaches. I don't mind saying, it is pure stupidity to suspect that which God has settled.

If I said that I was going to jump off the top of a high building because I was not sure about this law of gravity thing, you would say I had lost my mind. Why? Because it is a law which recurs its force as long as man can know. It is the same with the settled Word of God.

Ps 119:90

Evolution is a suitable substitute for truth, but it is indeed a lie. No record whatever so ever is there to prove that one species evolved from another. There may be mutations but no evolution whether cosmic or biological.

GOD established the heavens and the earth and is the creator and sustainer of them. That is a faithful truth for all generations. The heavens declares His glory and the firmament shows His handiwork.

Get in the Bible, learn about God and you will have no problem with this truth. Father did it and He told me so. I believe Him, not some human which uses only about 15% of his or her brain. Give me a break!

Ps 119:91

We are all subjects of the Sovereign God, not we are His sons and daughters ONLY through personal faith in Jesus Christ. The laws God set into motion have, do, and will continue and no peabrain scientist with an attitude can convince us differently.

One of the greatest dangers of being educated ABOVE our capacity, is that it far too often results in doubt, dispute, and disbelief of the TRUTH settled in heaven. His laws are laws - the results is the same whenever and by whomever they are tested.

Ps 119:92

Rejoicing and delight in the Word of God brings great delight to Him and us.

We are as the old woman who said her favorite verse in all the Bible is "This too shall pass".

Trouble cometh not to stay;

It leaves to come another day.

But when it comes my heart is told,

"Patience, my Child, this will turn to gold.

So, to all else I turn deaf ear

And long to glorify my Lord, so dear.

Soon I shall soar just like a bird,

Because I trusted in His Word.

Ps 119:93

"Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God" Rom 10:9

How can I ever forget the very truth that lifted me up and set my feet on a rock; that brought me out of the pit of sin, Satan, and selfishness; that made me, a man dead IN trespasses and sin, dead TO trespasses and sin and alive unto God?

Ps 119:94

Because You saved me, I can now seek You, LORD. You came looking for me, not vice versa. You placed withing me a driving desire to seek You with ALL my heart. I found you only when you found me. THANK YOU! I love You LORD.

Ps 119:95

With fiery darts shot at me, the shield of faith has protected and preserved me. When the enemy came in like a flood, You raised up a banner against him. Though I have stumbled I have not fallen for my heart is fixed.
