Morning Moments

1 Tim. 4:4-5 (KJV)
For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving: [5] For it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer.

Evidence demands a virdict, and the evidence of false teachers and seductive deceivers demands their rejection. The exposure comes from knowing truth, not from knowing error. It is the truth that reveals what deceivers conceal. It is not always what they tell you, but sometimes what they don't. Note two things about this:

1. The teaching is a denial of God's Provision - "every...nothing"

2. The teaching is a dismissal of God's blessing - "sanctified"

We have seen how to spot them, now we must learn how to stop them.

Passivity in Christianity always leads to captivity. The silent majority has done more to undermind good and support evil than can be imagined. I don't care if you are democrat or republican, Bsptist, Methodist, Presbyterian and Charismatic, you need to learn to stand up and speak up for Christ AND against evil. I don't give a rip about political correctness, the religious and political corruption is what I am against because I am FOR Christ.

I don't care if your theology is Black, Modern, Liberal, or Conservative. If you are not "right on" with the Word of God, I oppose and will expose your teaching. We are in perhaps the most critical days of the Church and there is more corruption, perversion, and tolerance of these seductive deceivers than ever before.

Several years ago, I took a youth group to a conference. One of the speakers had published a book entitled "Being Christlike". As he began to speak I listened very carefully to him cast dispersion on the Word of God, so I went to him at the break and ask some basic questions. He failed the test and I told him he was a false prophet and antichrist, then took my kids and left. In case you wonder why I was so blunt, He denied the virgin birth by saying it did not matter. He denied the verbal inspiration of the Word of God. I don't know what happened to him, but I hope he got saved.

In closing today let me remind you that Paul is teaching Timothy to:
1) Remind the Brethren
2) Refuse the Babbling

BLESSINGS!
