In my effort to give a crash course in eschatology, it has been my determined purpose to avoid all of the obvious and commonly used verses (there are hundreds) and focus upon simple principles that enable us to arrive at a clear interpretation and understanding of Scripture. Allow me to briefly reiterate and then proceed.
1. There is a distinct difference between the Jew, the Gentile and the Church.
2. Jesus is Israel's Messiah King and He is Lord over the Church.
3. There are two and only two kingdoms: One is spiritual and one is physical. The former is the New Testament Kingdom of Heaven/Kingdom of God and the other is the literal physical Kingdom promised the Jews to be established on this earth with Jerusalem as its center.
4. In conclusion, and this will take a couple more days, we must see the future of the Church, which is Christ's espoused Bride and the future of the nation to whom God gave the commandments and the NATION Israel.
First, the Church. Today we are espoused to Jesus, which is to say that we are commited to Him and He to us as Bride and Groom. NOW HEAR THIS! Jesus does not torture His own body nor His espoused bride, but nourishes and cherishes it (Read Ephesians 5). He is in NO way abusive to His body of which He is the Head, nor of His Bride of which He is the Bridegroom.
Jesus will receive the Church, composed of every truly born again believer IN THIS AGE OF GRACE ONLY, unto Himself, in the air, in the RAPTURE (Harpadzo: to seize, catch up, snatch away)1 Thes 4:17. THEN shall the remnant of Israel be delivered in the time of GREAT Tribulation such as the world has never before seen. And through the 2 Witnesses and the 144,000 JEWS (12,000 from each tribe) with their message of "The King is Coming!" the righteous Jews (not racial nor religious) shall be saved.
I am attempting to stay BASIC, so I am leaving out lots of details which I will make available later in a pre-publication book. But this is enough for today.
PRAYER: Precious Father, open Your Word to us that we may behold wonderous things.
