Morning Moments

"My God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus."

Promise after promise God has given us who are true believers that we can claim as our own. He doesn't say "except when the market is down, the economy is crashing, you lose your 401k, or anything else. Besides, those of us who are students of the Bible understand that this world MUST move toward a global economy, a common means of exchange, and a leader people will follow blindly, regardless of denial of Scripture, background, and whatever else. This world has been accepting lies for so long it cannot recognize truth. Furthermore, God is giving it strong delusion to believe THE lie. Look up, my friend, your redemption draweth nigh.

I found it quite interesting that many who call themselves Christian are taken in by all of this. I remember in the 60s when the leader of the United Nations said, "Give us a man who can solve the world's economic problems and we will follow him, be he god or devil." I remember the devil's prophetess, Jeane Dixon, predicting that there would be a man born in the 60's who would later rise to solve the world's problems. Hmmm.

We Christians are like Rip Van Winkle. However, many of us don't understand the story. It was not that Rip slept for 20 years, but that he slept through a revolution. Wake up! Wake up! No one knows the day or hour when the Son of Man cometh...but as Paul wrote, "the times and season you know well." Remember the word of God to the prophet, "He that will be ignorant, let him be ignorant still." Remember the word again, "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge." It is not the accumulation of data He speaks of, but the knowledge of God.

DO NOT misunderstand me, my friend, if He is not fulfilling these words today or next year or another century, THIS IS A WAKE UP CALL, so Don't Miss It! Let us get our house in order!

PRAYER: Father, for almost 50 years I have preached the soon return of Jesus, and Paul did it 2,000 years ago. I do not know when the trump will resound and the Lord shall descend, but I do know that I have given my life to the fact that it will occur. I am reminded that "when the fulness of time was come" you sent your Son as Savior. I also know that when the "fulness of the Gentiles" is come You will send Him again as Sovereign Lord. As John prayed on the Isle of Patmos, so pray I now, "Even so, come Lord Jesus!
