Zechariah
Chapters 1-14
Zechariah was both priest and prophet and along with Haggai, he prophesied during the rebuilding of the Temple encouraging the work, as well as assuring the people of a greater day to come.
The Voice - 1:1-6 - God speaks to the Prophet
The Visions - 1:7-6:8 - God shows the Prophet
The Value - 6:9-8:23 - Virtue is of great Value to God
The Visitations - 9:1-14:21 - He will come as Savior and Sovereign
The Visitation as a LAMB of God - 9-11
The Visitation as the LORD of Glory 12-14
God is faithful to finish what He has started. Although He came the first time unto His own only to be rejected by them, He will come again to be accepted by them as their Messiah and Sovereign King.
